Zofia Kayian, Staff Writer
Zofia Kayian is currently a freshmen at Seabury Hall. Kayian was born and adopted from Kazakhstan in Asia, when she was six months old. When Kayian was five years old, she moved from Fresno, California to Maui. She attended Montessori School of Maui Upcountry for kindergarten through middle school. Kayian is on the Seabury JV Volleyball team and loves sports. She has been playing basketball since she was seven, and can’t wait to join the girls varsity basketball team. When Kayian isn’t outside shooting hoops, she is inside writing fiction or watching YouTube. Kayian might want to write a book someday or start a YouTube channel. Kayian’s other passion is music, even though she doesn’t make any. Her mother is a music journalist and has taken her to many concerts that has fueled her passion. Kayian’s music taste is very eclectic; her playlists include music from all decades and all genres. Kayian actually has a bucket list that is dedicated to musicians she wants to see live. While Kayian listens to a lot of music she also belongs to many fandoms like “The Hunger Games,” “Pretty Little Liars,” and “Glee.” Kayian is ready for her first year at Seabury Hall and all the homework the teachers will throw her way her.
