Liam Turner

Liam Turner, Staff Writer

Seabury Hall freshman Liam Turner is informed and conscious of current events. After seeing the drastic increase in violence around the world, Turner decided that he wanted to help make a change. He recently became interested in a career in law enforcement simply because he desires to help people. Turner was born on June 10, 2003 in Lahaina and has lived on Maui for his entire life. His claim to fame would definitely be his bravery. Turner dreams of a career in law enforcement, and he hopes to be known as someone who is willing to put his life on the line for others. In his free time, he is an avid reader and would be correctly labelled as a bookworm. The book that had the most influence on him is “Unbroken” by Laura Hillenbrand. Some of the greatest life advice Turner has ever received has come in the form of a quote by Louis Zamperini which states, “The one who forgives never brings up the past to that person’s face. When you forgive, it’s like it never happened. True forgiveness is complete and total.” If presented with the opportunity to live a day in the life of another person, Turner would like to be Louis Zamperini. To prepare for his future in law enforcement, Turner will continue to attend Seabury Hall, graduate high school, apply to college, and plans to apply for a job in law enforcement.
